Jeannie Bolét is a Los Angeles-based artist & writer born in Liverpool, England. Jeannie studied Fashion & Illustration at John Moore University, where she first dabbled in jewelry making. Several years later, after a successful career as a makeup artist (among other equally creative pursuits), Jeannie returned to her fascination with crystals and gemstones while teaching herself the skills needed to work with metal. Bibelot LA was born in 2017.

Inspired by the beauty and energies held within crystals & gemstones, the fabrication process is informed by the shape of the stone and its unique features. Each piece is hand-formed, fired & finished by Jeannie in her Chinatown studio near Los Angeles State Historic Park.

Formerly at August Axel Jewelry Studio in Venice, CA, Jeannie opened STUDIO BIBELO to share her skills and began teaching beginner jewelry-making classes to aspiring jewelry makers and hobbyists at her Chinatown studio.
